The College of Lake County's instructors play a vital role in ensuring that students are able to obtain the textbooks and materials they need at reasonable prices.
It's not only the CLC Bookstore that relies on you to submit a textbook list for each of your courses in a timely fashion every semester. When you send us accurate lists on-time, it allows our buyers to find course-correct texts more efficiently whether on paper or in digital format. Timely lists also free up the working hours necessary to scrounge through all our vendors' available stocks for an appropriate supply of USED textbooks. Cost-conscious students can always use information from the CLC Bookstore website to search for texts elsewhere, too... and that data will be visible to your students much sooner with promptly-entered requisitions.
Late requisitions can result in students unable to obtain required texts due to inventory shortages. Sometimes they even cause a complete absence of used books on our shelves.
